White wEBBs and Flash Lane May 13, 2026

Footpath Condition:

The path I walked today has significantly improved since my last visit. Many uneven surfaces have been addressed or widened. The path is wide enough for 2-3 people and mobility vehicles in most places, but narrow in a few areas. Previously muddy footpaths have been transformed into pleasant paths thanks to new gravel. Considering I was walking in rain and hail, I was pleasantly surprised to see the walking path in good order. There were a few minor uneven surfaces that still need attention. There was only one bench available. The Aqueduct at Flash Lane has been cleaned up and restored to its natural beauty, looking terrific with no litter, fly-tipping, or debris in sight. There are some notable drainage issues on the paths near the aqueduct.

Navigation: Signage was adequate and in good condition.

Litter and Debris: Around Hilly Fields, there were used wet wipes; I counted 87. No dog fouling observed.  No wooden debris following pruning in sight, very tidy condition. Some fly tipping was observed.  One tree at risk of falling onto the footpath in Flash Lane needs attention.

Safety: No anti-social behaviour or other threats encountered.
