Accessibility, Graffiti, Litter, Safety & Navigation:

Signage is suitable on main paths, but still missing on some of the lesser paths branching off from gravel.  Much of this path has been resurfaced recently and is being kept in good order, with the materials holding up in different types of weather.  No graffiti or litter observed. Path felt safe.

Dead Wood Management

We have made significant progress tidying up pruned and felled trees and managing dead wood in recent weeks since our last visit in May.

Biodiversity

I am concerned about how the planned Salmons Brook restoration and clearance will impact wildlife that relies on hedgerows and trees. I will monitor activity throughout the summer.  Tire tracks and clearance for the project are visible.  Streams and brooks are starting to dry up in the hot weather, and soil is cracked in many places.
